The Lounge |
 |
The house
is about 300 years old and made of stone with a slate roof. This
beautiful house has been sympathetically modernised to compliment
the 21st century. It is centrally heated to suit the off season
visitor. In the lounge there is also a huge, original fire place
for a friendly ambience on a winter’s night. The comfortably furnished lounge with
sofas, armchairs and plenty of side tables and table lamps is a
perfect place to while away a few hours. There are plenty of books
to read.(You may take it home if you have not finished it, or swap).
There are also games to play. We have a TV but it only acts as
a DVD and video player, unfortunately we were unable to get the
reception for the TV. We have a large collection of DVD’s
and videos but please feel free to bring your own. There is also
a CD player, again you are welcome to bring your own CD’s. |
Kitchen and Dining Room |
 |
The large kitchen and dining
room is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave
etc. As well as an abundance of china, cutlery and cooking pots,
pans and dishes there are a plenty of glasses for the variety of
drinks available in the town! The dining table seats four comfortably
and when fully extended will easily seat up to eight people. There
is also a highchair, but straps will be needed to secure your child. |
The Bedrooms |
 |
On the first floor there are two
double bedrooms, both with wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside
lamps. Both the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. The main bedroom
has a bath and shower. The second bedroom has a shower. Upstairs
is a huge spacious airy attic. This has been converted to a family
bedroom. There is a double bed and two single beds here as well
as a wardrobe and chest of drawers and bedside lamps. This also
has a huge en suite bathroom.
There is also a travel cot available, but you
will have to supply your own linen/bedding for that. |

The Garden |
 |
The patio garden is through the kitchen and
up some stairs. In the garden there is a table and chairs and a
BBQ. It is a warm and comfortable suntrap, there is a sun umbrella
so nobody gets burnt. The stairs to and from the garden are steep
and stone, so be very wary with children. |
